League of Nations (10 janv. 1920 – 20 avr. 1946)

Description:

The League of Nations was an organisation that was created after the first world war to provide platform for international dispute settlement. This organisation was International and had its headquarters in Geneva. After world war 2 it ceased operations because it was such a failure and didn’t serve it primary purpose which was to stop another world war from occurring. It was said to avoid another war through disarmament, collective security, and negotiation. One of the main flaws of the League of Nations was that many countries didn’t actually join the organisation and other countries were members for a short amount of time then left the organisation.
