The sinking of the titanic was an extrememly unfortunate event that took place in the middle of the atlantic ocean. The large vessel was taken down after sustaining heavy damamge after a head on collission with an iceberg. The Titanics sinking was a very iconic part of history, it was the largest vessel ever built and held roughly 3,300 people. After the sinking, many people re thought the safety procedures that should accompany such a large project. The Titanic was a revolutionary new vessel that entirely changed transportation overseas.
