Description:
After the Protestant reformation, Catholic leaders were compelled to reform the Catholic Church. They gathered into the Council of Trent to reform the church, including clarifying matters such as Biblical canon, original sin, and salvation. This counter-reformation led to a resurgence of the Roman Catholic church in Europe.
