Description:
In 431 B.C. during the Peloponnesian War, a plague killed 25-30% of the Athenians (including Pericles), leading Athens to surrender. After the war there was a disunity in Greece for 40 years. After the Peloponnesian War Greek defenses are weakened and a door is open for Greece to be conquered.
