David (born in 1107 BCE) becomes King at age 30, in 1077. He rules at this time over Judah. (Ish-bosheth rules over Israel.) Ish-bosheth is assassinated 2 years later.
7 years and 6 months after David is appointed over Judah, he becomes King over all Israel. He rules for a total of 40 years, 33 over all Israel.
