Political - Chinggis Khan forged Mongol tribes into an alliance that built the largest empire the world has ever seen. His policies greatly strengthened the Mongol population. Breaking up tribes, he forced men of age to join the new military units because of his personal experiences. The army was the most important factor of the Mongol state, and it magnified the power of the empire.
