Description:
From 1970-1990 Tobacco companies faced a multitude of lawsuits. During this time tobacco companies were limited in how they could advertise and market their products. In 1997 tobacco companies were ordered to spend billions of dollars on anti-smoking campaigns over the next 25 years to educate youth on the dangers of smoking.
