Diaspora (1 janv. 332 av. J.-C. – 1 janv. 300 av. J.-C.)
Description:
A majority of Jews lived outside of Israel in the Diaspora, and they created a new set of standards for their faith tradition. But after Alexander the Great conquered Persia, Egypt, and India, the Jews who lived in the Diaspora fell under the influence of Greek culture. This explains why the Bible was translated into Greek and served the Jewish community of the Diaspora for centuries.
