Description:
When the Israelites walked back to Canaan the people living in the north were called Phoenicians. They were the greatest sailors of the ancient world. They sailed all around the Mediterranean Sea starting colonies. Some famous ones include Tyre and Carthage. One story tells of Dido, a Phoenician princess using a single bull-hide to get all of the land she wanted.
