J. S. Bach (31 mars 1685 – 28 juill. 1750)
Description:
Most famous (and last) organist/composer of the baroque era. Bach developed baroque counterpoint and the fugue into their most advanced forms. Wrote dozens of concerti for various instruments. Bach was a master of motivic forms, and would develop ideas through his use of compositional symmetry. Continued use of dance suite; tends to include I and II versions of each dance.
