Description:
The Iranian Revolution was a series of violent protests between the Shah, the ruler in a monarchy in Iran, and millions of demonstrators, mostly students and dissatisfied civilians. The protests were supported by Ayatollah Khomeini, who, at the time, was in exile out of the country.
