Sykes-Picot Agreement (3 janv. 1916 – 16 mai 1916)
Description:
In this agreement, Britain, Russia, and France agreed to split up the remains of the Ottoman Empire. Russia took Constantinople (Istanbul) and Armenia, France took Lebanon and parts of Syria, and Britain took Southern Mesopotamia and some Mediterranean ports.
