Early Tudor period (1 janv. 1485 – 1 janv. 1558)
Description:
England becomes one, the Tudor family reigns and the king is Henry VIII. King Henry had some difficulty with the catholic church and therefore decided to create the his own church which he was head of, for his convenience of course. The people of England however found it burdensome to adapt to the new religious rules. 1553 Mary I took the throne shortly after and she wanted to reestablish the catholic church in England, this caused a clash between protestants and catholics.
