Description:
The English Civil War took place from 1642 to 1651, and it involved the royalists, who were supporters of the throne/Charles I, and the roundheads, who were supporters of Parliament and who were opposed to Charles I. The royalists dressed like cavaliers and looked royal, and the roundheads had bowl cuts and did not dress royally. The roundheads were victorious in the English Civil War, and the war led to the Commonwealth.
