Description:
The Ming Dynasty was a Chinese Dynasty, which lasted around 276 years. It succeeded the Yuan dynasty which was the Mongol dynasty. Zhu Yuanzhang proclaimed himself the first emperor of the Ming dynasty after he helped bring down the Yuan dynasty. During the Ming dynasty, there were many scientific innovations. The military technology was relatively advanced in that period. A kind of gun called huochong gun was invented in the late period. It is said that a man named Wan Hoo even tried to fly to the sky by sitting in a chair propelled by gunpowder sticks. However, he died. This relates to 3.2 because of the innovation of the Ming Dynsaty
