The Convention of 1836 (1 mars 1836 – 31 mars 1836)
Description:
The Convention of 1836 was a meeting where they wrote and adopted the Texas Declaration of Independence. The Convention started March 1, 1836 but abruptly ended because Santa Anna and the Mexican Army quickly approached Washington on the Brazos.
