1740-1741- Famine in Ireland (1 janv. 1740 – 1 janv. 1741)

Description:

The famine in Ireland was caused by a freezing cold winter that killed many and stopped machinery that ground up wheat. Bad harvests followed the cold winter which lead to mass death and sickness. By the end of the famine twenty percent of Irelands population died about 480,000.
