Description:
The Free Speech Movement was the a long-lasting student protest on the Campus of the University of California, Berkeley, for free speech and academic freedom.
Outcome: leverage for students to make demands on the University administrators and this movement was the basis for future protests, e.g. the Anti-Vietnam-War-Movement.
