I am currently facing an unforeseen financial shortfall and require an additional $20,000 to finalize the medical transaction successfully, if at all possible. To express my deep gratitude for your assistance, I propose that we document the final payment as $25,000 less than the originally agreed upon amount of $330,000. However, taking this into account, the total final payment from you would be $305,000, instead of the previously discussed $330,000.
Peymon, this is so important that instead of the $330k or even the $305k, I’d consider dropping the remaining amount down to $275k.
To address this urgent need, I am proposing an advance payment of $50,000. In exchange, I will agree to a final settlement of $250,000 upon the sale of the house. This proposition effectively reduces the overall sale price from $430,000 to $400,000. Considering the $100,000 I have already received, and my proposed $50,000 advance, the remaining balance due would be $250,000.
