Democritus thought that all matter are made of atomos (atoms) which could not be divided.
He claimed that matter was made of small, hard particles called atoms.It was he who inspired generations of scientists to conduct experiments that would clarify and refine our concept of the fundamental particles of matter.
He created the first atomic theory using a scientific method and he viewed atoms as tiny, solid balls.
