2000 B.C, The First People of the Land
1200's B.C, Moses lead the Hebrews back.
1029 B.C, The Israelite's 12 tribes became loosely organized. This lead them into choosing a king to rule them, King Saul.
About 1000 B.C, King Saul successor, David, unified the nation to form the kingdom of Israel. He established Jerusalem as the capital.
928 B.C, The kingdon was united until the death of King Solomon. The northern tribes split away from the south, forming the country Israel. The Southern state was called Judah and kept the capital Jerusalem.
During the 700's, The Assyrians extended their rule westward to the Mediterranean Sea.
Périodes
1800 - 1500 B.C, Hebrews settled from Mesopotamia. They traveled to Egypt later on.
1948-1949, There was a war over the land between the Arabs and Jews, which led to a division in Palestine among Isreal, Jordan, and Egypt.
