The Magna Carta was the first form of protection laws for the settlers of America.
The English Bill of Rights- a document created to put more restraints on the king of England
The Declaration of Colonial Rights: a statement created by the First Continental Congress in response to the intolerable acts passed by British parliament. It stated the basic rights of the colonies.
