June 12, 1929: Anne Frank was born in Frankfurt, Germany.Summer 1933: The Frank family migrated to Holland to escape the persecution in Germany.June 12, 1942: Anne receives a diary for her thirteenth birthday.July 5th, 1942: the Frank family goes into hiding in the Secret Annex above Otto's offices.November 16th, 1942: Dentist Fritz Pfeffer joins the Franks and the Van Pelses in hiding in the Secret Annex.August 4th, 1944: All occupants and two helpers are arrested and sent to the Westerbork transit camp.September 3rd, 1944: The occupants of the annex are transported to the Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration campEnd of 1944: Anne and her sister Margot are transported to the Bergen Belsen concentration camp.March 1945: Anne and Margot both die of typhus.April 30, 1945: Otto Frank was the only occupant of the Secret Annex to survive. Miep Gies saved Anne's diary following the raid on the annex and returned itJune 25th, 1947; Anne's diary was first published in Dutch.
