FRESHMAN YEAR OF COLLEGE BEGINS
God led me to Biola, and since
I've come here, I have grown
closer to Him, met new friends,
discovered new passions, and
it's just the beginning!Périodes
COMING TO FAITH
At some point during this period,
I remember accepting Christ into
my heart, though I may have
known him before this time.MEETING MY BEST FRIEND
At some point during this year
of my life I met my current best
friend. She has been such a
blessing in my life and we have
grown in faith so much since
this first year together.6TH GRADE (A TRANSITIONAL PERIOD)
Throughout this school year
I grew closer to my best friend,
we studied the bible together,
and I began volunteering in
children's ministry at church.8TH GRADE (DISCOVERING MY CALLING[S])
In this year, I started choir, which
is now a passion of mine and has
had an incredible impact on my life,
and also, I started volunteering with
preschoolers at church-which I
would later discover to be something

For each summer in high school,
I participated in RFK, a summer
camp for Foster/Adoptive
children with backgrounds of
abuse and/or neglect. These
experiences have taught me so
much about children, life, and
particularly Christ's endless,

For three years I have led a 3-5
year old classroom at VBS at
my church. It has been
incredible to learn more about
the profession I have chosen

Junior and Senior year of high
school, I participated in All-State
Choir. This is worthy of mention
because it helped me to develop
my singing ability and recognize

I fell in love with Biola when
I visited on Spring Preview
Day. I could feel that this is
where I am supposed to be.HS SENIOR YEAR/SUMMER (A TRANSITIONAL PERIOD)
In this year, I graduated high school
and began preparations for college.
It felt like God was closing the door
of high school and my past behind
me, while ushering me towards a
fresh start at Biola.CROWNED A STAR
In this month I was "crowned" at
the end of completing a
foundational faith-building
course at my church called
Missionettes.
