- Members met in Nebraska to write their "Omaha Platform"
- Demands included free and unlimited coinage of silver, a graduated income tax, direct election of senators, protection of land and natural resources from monopolies, and govt. ownership of the telephone, telegraph, and railroad industries
- Much of the platform later adopted by the Progressives
