Description:

英国传教士杨格非（Griffinth John）用“浅文理”翻译了《新约》，1889年改为“官话”出版。
杨格非主张翻译原文的意义，采取“非字面”的翻译原则。曾给自己制定了7条规则指导自己的翻译。
注：文理（比较雅训的文言）、浅文理（浅近文言）、官话三种语体。
