Description:

British Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain, French Premier Édouard Daladier, Hitler, and Italian dictator Benito Mussolini sign the Munich Agreement, allowing Germany to annex the Sudetenland, a German-speaking region of Czechoslovakia. The policy of appeasement, aimed at avoiding war, fails and only encourages further Nazi aggression.
