Empress Xiaokemin, also known as Wanrong, was the last empress of China, who married the Xuantong Emperor (Puyi) in 1922. As Puyi's empress, she accompanied him during his time as the puppet emperor of Manchukuo, but their relationship was strained, and her life took a tragic turn as she struggled with addiction and isolation.
