1 janv. 1630 - William Bradford - Of Plymouth Plantation

Description:

William Bradford was focused on writing about the tragedy they all endured during their travels to the Plymouth Plantation. He preached in the power of community and healthy and peaceful relations. I feel like around this time there were a lot of issues with people going in head strong trying to take over everything and conquer everyone. He wrote of what he saw and what they experiences as a group. This showed his form of individuality because even though he was a leader and he was there to supply knowledge and skill, they were all brought together as one on this voyage. They were figuring things out, and so, the identity of the plantation took after the people who had a strong voice. Those who were respected and listened to.
