Description:

Nathaniel Essex obtains the sarcophagus of Nur El-Sabah. Cable arrives from the future in an attempt to stop Essex from opening the coffin, but fails. Upon opening it, and breaking the magical seals, Nur El-Sabah awakens. He kills Nathaniel Essex and begins to assimilate the technology of the Shi'ar city, destroying the city in the process. He studies Cable, and assimilates from him a techno-organic virus which he weaponizes. Cable breaks free of Nur El-Sabah's control and escapes with Madelyne. Nur El-Sabah claims the child Nathan Summers, and infects him with the techno-organic virus.
