Triggered by the failure of Hydra to win the election, a final Master Mold, fully automated by Ultron, is activated. The Ultron programming takes hold, and becomes self aware. Reviewing it's mission protocols, it determines that complete annihilation is the only appropriate response to the ongoing issues.
