Description:
In Montgomery, Alabama, Rosa Parks, a black woman, was arrested for refusing to give up her seat on a bus for a white man. To protest the arrest, the black community of Montgomery went on a boycott, led my Martin Luther King Jr. The matter went to court, where it was decided that segregation on buses was unconstitutional, therefore marking the boycott as a success.
