Demand for women's rights increased throughout the sixties with some women growing tired of the monotonous housework and restricted rights.

One step towards a sense of liberation was the introduction for the Contraceptive Pill, allowing for free sex without any worry of pregnancy.

This gave more women freedom, however men could also pressure women into sex as the threat of pregnancy was eliminated.

Despite this, women liberation was still little. It would not be until the 70s in which feminisum would gain traction.
