Located around 300 km from Seoul, the city of Ulsan has confirmed the deployment of its first hydrogen-powered tramway line in 2028. An initial series of trials is underway.

In Ulsan, the hydrogen-powered tramway is on track! Launched in 2020, the idea is now a reality, and the South Korean municipality has officially confirmed the project.

In total, the city of Ulsan plans to spend 23.5 billion won (16 million euros) to launch this first hydrogen-powered tramway line. The 4.6 km-long line will link Taehwagang and Jangsaengpo stations. Each streetcar can carry up to 200 passengers.
