1 avr. 1821 - Siege of Acre
Description:
In April 1821, the Farhi brothers led a significant army into the Akko Sanjak. They swiftly captured the Galilee, overcoming Abdullah's forces and installing new leaders to diminish his control in each area they conquered. Upon reaching Acre, they commenced a 14-month siege. Tragically, during the siege, the eldest brother, Salomon, fell victim to poisoning (some sources suggest stabbing) by Abdullah's agents. Faced with the grim reality of the siege's progress, the surviving brothers and their troops retreated to Damascus.
