Description:
Goal: Boost agricultural prices & help farmers (New Deal LOVED farmers)
How: The government buys livestock for slaughter and pays farmers subsidies not to plant on part of their land. The money for these subsidies was generated through an exclusive tax on companies that processed farm products.
AAA was struck down by SCOTUS (see jan 1936).
