Description:

The States' Rights faction is kicked out and overthrown, including the Land's Advocate Oldenbarnevelt by the radical Calvinist Orangist faction. Oldenbarnevelt is beheaded and Grotius is exiled.

While the British supported the Orangists at first, they go on to start multiple Anglo-Dutch wars. The Amboyna massacre of British soldiers, in a Japanese island is particularly brutal. British propaganda accused the Dutch of sergically removing victims organs through burning.

The Dutch were the only European nation content to trample on the Crucifix in Japan at this time, the ritual called Fumi-e.
