Why: there are many reasons as to why the stock market crashed. Some are overinflated shares, growing bank loans, agricultural overproduction, panic selling, stocks purchased on margin, higher interest rates, and a negative media industry.
Impact: The stock market crash crippled the American economy because not only had individual investors had put their money into stocks, so did businesses.
