Description:
In February of 1924 and into March, Hitler was held on trial for his role in the Beer Hall Putsch. A five-judge panel led by George Neithardt held the trial of Hitler and the other Putsch leaders. The judges convicted Hitler on the charge of high treason. However, he was given the lightest sentence possible of 5 years in a minimum security prison at Landsberg am Lech with the possibility of parole.
