1 sept. 1764 - Currency Act

Description:

The Currency Act was an act that regulated the paper money issued in the colonies. The act was passed to protect British merchants who were not benefiting from the depreciated colonial money. The colonists believed that the British only thought to their own benefits on the Currency Act, so they were very disconetent.
