- JFK looks like he saved the world
- Missiles removed
- Prevented nuclear war

- Had to secretly remove his missiles from turkey
- Had to accept the fact that Cuba would now be communist non the less

For the USSR:
- Ally near US
- Communist Cuba, means communism is spreading
- Turkey's missiles removed

- was forced to back down and remove his own missiles too
- USSR was behind the US in the arms race

For Cuba:
- Independence
- communism was good for minorities within the public
- Money and aid from the USSR

- Castro was upset that the USSR made the deal with the US, but had to accept it since Cuba needed the aid from the USSR
