These two battles were some of the most leading military conflicts of the American Revolutionary War. The battles were fought within the towns of Lexington, Concord, Lincoln, Menotomy, and Cambridge. In this battle specifically, some of the most amazing things happened. No one shot, it was a stand-off against the two armies. Then suddenly a single shot was fired. That single shot was dubbed "The Shot Heard Round the World". It was named this because it started the revolutionary war.
