Description:

"Uncle Tom's Cabin" is a fictional story told of a slaves life. It was written by Harriet stowe, an American abolitionist. Her attempt was the widen the knowledge of the evils in slavery. The book became a bestseller, being second under the bible, and led to a huge impact in Northern views upon slavery. It greatly supported black activist, and even affected Lincolns beliefs upon slavery. The book took place on a plantation in Kentucky after Stowe visited the horrors of slavery. It was published March 10, 1852. It was a significant factor in the separation of ideology, between the north and south, of slavery.
