6 mars 1941 - The Nazi-Soviet Pact

Description:

The Molotov–Ribbentrop Pact was a non-aggression pact between Nazi Germany and the Soviet Union that enabled those powers to partition Poland between them. The pact was signed on 23 August 1939 and was officially known as the Treaty of Non-Aggression between Germany and the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics. It also had several different hidden clauses such as industry and technology sharing, partitions of all of Europe, and many more. It was more of a way of deterring Stalin temporally for Hitler. Although Stalin thought Hitler would respect it, he was wrong.
