2 juin 1483 - Edward is declared illegitimate and deposed in favour of his uncle Richard Duke of Gloucester. -Edward and his brother Richard of York are imprisoned in the Tower of London. After a few months they are never seen again -The Duke of Buckingham is appointed Constable and Great Chamberlain of England -Duke of Buckingham. Buckingham is captured, tried, and put to death for a rebellion.
