Description:
Called because of the Intolerable Acts. It consisted of delegates from all of the colonies except for Georgia. The delegates wanted to gain liberty from Great Britain. They created the Declaration of Rights and Grievances and sent it to Britain. If the British did not satisfy the colonists needs, they all vowed to meet up again the next year.
