Sidney Pressey was formerly known for his sale of tests and materials, but he was also the founder of the first ever teaching machine. The teaching machine helped teachers with the grading process of standardized tests. The development of this machine made it possible for teachers to have grades pushed out much faster than doing the grading by hand.
