Following half a century of intense study of the Nibiru gateway, a concerted effort between earth's best scientists and AMI's superintelligence managed to reactivate the mechanisms that stabilized the Nibiru wormhole.

Time spent aboard the structure clearly demonstrated that it was indeed built by some sapient race, but with no language or signs of construction methods clearly visible it was impossible to know who or what built this ancient imposing machine.
