Description:

Letby was charged in November 2020 with eight counts of murder and ten counts of attempted murder. Her trial lasted from October 2022 to August 2023. During the trial, it was revealed that Letby's methods included injecting the infants with air or insulin, overfeeding them or physically assaulting them. Letby also stole over 250 confidential documents relating to the children's care to keep as mementoes of her crimes, and falsified patient records to avert suspicion.
