Description:
On 6 March, 2009, the Kepler spacecraft was launched on a mission to look for other Earth-sized planets that orbit stars similar to the Sun. The area that Kepler will watch has about 150,000 stars like the Sun. Using special detectors, similar to one's used in digital cameras, it will look for a slight dimming as a planet comes between the stars and Kepler.Ajouté au bande de temps:
